Dental Squad of AZ Foundation is a Native-led nonprofit organization dedicated to improving oral health by bringing preventive dental care, education, and outreach directly to underserved communities throughout Arizona. We believe every child, family, elder, and individual deserves access to quality dental care—regardless of where they live, their income, or their insurance status.
Founded by Dr. Thana Boyd, DHEd, MPH, BS, RDH, a Navajo (Diné) public health professional with more than 20 years of dental experience, the Foundation was created to eliminate barriers that prevent people from receiving essential oral healthcare. Through school-based programs, community outreach events, tribal partnerships, and mobile dental services, we provide preventive care, oral health education, screenings, fluoride treatments, sealants, and connections to ongoing dental care.
